Under the direct supervision of the provider, the Clinic Medical Assistant provides safe. effective and age appropriate high quality patient care. Communicates and documents patients information in an accurate and timely manner. Coordinates and/or schedules patient procedures and consultations as ordered. Effectively assists/prepares provider to ensure safe patient care, customer satisfaction, provider efficiency and provider satisfaction. Practices internal and external customer service.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- CPR certification is required (AHA-Healthcare Provider)
- Medical Assistant Certification is preferred
- Prior experience as a Medical Assistant is strongly preferred
