Under the supervision of the Dental Hygienist/Dental Van Manager provides dental care to children. Assists in planning dental treatment of patients. High school diploma or equivalent and graduate of an accredited Dental Hygienist program. Maintains current Connecticut Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license and current Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification. Two years experience as a dental hygienist preferably working with children, preferably in a public health setting. Familiarity with dental billing and coding procedures. Excellent interpersonal skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills preferred. THIS IS A GRANT FUNDED POSITION.
