Description
The individual in this role will be responsible for providing clinical and administrative direction, including the daily operations, financial and quality-improvement initiatives and strategic planning of the unit.
Requirements
- Hospital nursing experience in labor and delivery with a progressive background in nursing management, preferred
- Bachelor's in nursing , required; masters preferred
- Level II Nursery experience
- Proven, effective communication, organization and clinical skills
- Assertive, positive leadership style
- Completion of NRP and STABLE within 6 months of employment
- Completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers within 30 days of employment
