General Medical Center is a 716-bed, state-of-the-art Level I Trauma Center and Ft. Lauderdale’s largest healthcare facility.
Full Time Eligible 72 Hours per pay period. Varied Days or Nights. 7pm-7am Weekends every other.
- Completion of a nursing program from an accredited school of Nursing.
- Current State of Florida Registered Nurse.
- BLS and ACLS card required.Two Years of related experience.
- Excellent customer service.
- Reports to Nurse Manager and is responsible for assisting with planning, administering and evaluating twenty-four hour operation of a single nursing unit.
- In doing so, is assigned duties based on patients' needs, staffing availability, etc.
- Attends patient rounds with physicians, answers questions regarding patients' condition, receives physicians' orders and notes patients' charts.
- Directs preparation and maintenance of patients' clinical records.
