Job Summary
The General Dentist, with the Chief of Dentistry and Assistant Chief of Dentistry, participates in operation of the General Practice Residency Program through oversight of the training of Residents in the delivery of comprehensive dental services in the out-patient clinics, hospital in-patient care, and operating room treatment; by providing direct patient care; and by coordinating and providing lectures, seminars, and clinical demonstrations to residents.
Job Requirements
- D. M. D. /D. D. S. or equivalent professional degree.
- Must have completed an accredited postdoctoral training in GPR Dentistry.
- The General Dentist much have at least three years of continuous clinical Dentistry practice that includes at least three continuous years of hospital based Dentistry (beyond residency program) on at least a half time basis; at least three years of academic and administrative experience teaching in a GPR Program preferred.
- Excellent communications, interpersonal, coordinative, and organizational skills. 2 - 6 clinical or outpatient sessions per week.
- YNHH active attending.
