Job Summary
Under the general supervision of the Program Director delivers class and/or clinical instructions according to an approved course syllabus using accepted and effective teaching methods; develops daily lesson plans; advises and tutors students; maintains current and accurate attendance and grade records; remains current in applicable program teaching field; participates in faculty meetings, instructional seminars and in-service training sessions. Participates in school activities such as faculty meetings, student functions, graduation exercises, open houses, new student orientations, and advisory board meetings.

Qualifications
- Candidates must have a minimum of three (3) years practical experience as a Dental Assistant
- Have a current RDA license for a minimum of four (4) years
- Coronal Polish, Radiation Safety and Sealant certificates are REQUIRED
- Graduated from an accredited Dental Assisting program
- You will need excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to instruct classes and motivate students to learn
- Must have the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and although not absolutely necessary, the successful candidate would benefit from experience teaching at a vocational school
