Job Description
Imagine yourself working with the oncology team at the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic at the Aurora Health Center in Two Rivers. This position would primarily be responsible for phone triage addressing various types of patient calls and working closely with the primary nurses of the oncology physicians as well as the nurses in the chemo treatment area to coordinate and deliver care. Besides the main focus of triage, the nurse in this position is also responsible for working with financial drug assistance programs and obtaining prior authorizations, chart prep, patient education, and filling in as the primary nurse for Drs. Barylak and Yetter when needed.

General Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license granted by the State of Wisconsin.
- Knowledge of nursing equivalent to that which would be acquired by completing a regionally accredited associate’s degree program.
- Knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform this job are typically acquired through two years of progressively responsible experience in acute care nursing that includes experiences in oncology.
- Ability to work independently and make sound judgments.
- Exceptional organization and communication skills (oral and written).
- Ability to multi-task with frequent interruptions.
Desired Qualifications
- Current CPR certification.
- Expected to complete ONS chemo certification within one year of hire.
- Previous clinic or oncology experience preferred.
