Summary
Performs as a technician in the outpatient clinic, under the direction of the physicians to assist in rooming patients, and in prep activites for treatment of patients. Interviews patients, takes vital signs and performs other medical procedures per protocol and documents results for MD review. Inventories and orders medical supplies. Assures equipment is cleaned and maintained per department protocol. Reviews work comp paperwork and physician instructions with the patient prior to the end of each visit.

Requirements
- 1 year previous outpatient clinic experience preferred.
- Medical terminology required.
DEMONSTRATED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of medical information.
- Computer knowledge with minimum 35 wpm typing speed preferred.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Excellent customer service skills in identifying patient/employer needs and facilitating action to meet those needs.
- Willingness to adapt to ongoing changes in the surgical care environment.
- Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
- CPR certification.
