Registered Nurse IV - Med/Surg Telemetry, Cedars-Sinai - Los Angeles, CA
Job Description
Cedars-Sinai Medical Center has an immediate night opening for a Clinical Nurse IV for 6NW, a 32 Bed (includes 12 Telebeds) med/surg progressive care unit. The unit is comprised of professional nurses that are trained to care for very complex patients. We use a mulitdisciplinary approach and are comprehensive in the care. The nurses attend multidisciplinary team rounds, care for all solid organ transplant patients as well as thoracic surgery patients, post vats or lung volume reduction and vascular and post cardiac surgery patients.
The Clinical Nurse IV assumes the responsibility and accountability for the supervision and application of the nursing process throughout the delivery of patient care. Applies clinical knowledge regarding standard of care to consolidate interventions for time and cost savings. Demonstrates knowledge of regulatory requirements in patient assignment making delegations of tasks, documentation. Coordinates care for the delivery team. Demonstrates a commitment of customer service and an ability to meet the needs and expectations of patients and health care colleagues. Demonstrates leadership through initiative, creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork.

Education and Work Experience Preferences
- Requirements include valid California RN License, BLS, ACLS, BSN and 5 years acute RN experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills is also required.
