Pediatric Intensive Care, Travel Nurse across America - Santa Clara, CA
Pediatric ICU / This department serves pediatric patients who are experiencing acute yet stable medical and surgical problems. Primary populations served in the intensive care are patients with pneumonia, bronchiolitis, surgical procedures such as neuro surgical requiring close monitoring postoperatively, and those children in impending or existing danger of respiratory, circulatory or neurological failure.
Other Clinical activities include
Intravenous therapy, sepsis work-up, patient safety, chemotherapy administration, maintenance of skin integrity / One year recent (within the last 3 years) experience in Pediatric Critical Care. May be expected to cross train to at least one other Maternal Child Health/Family Centered Care area with appropriate
certifications.

Certifcations
- Current BLS and PALS certification required.
- Chemotherapy and/or Procedural Sedation competency may be required
