We are searching for a pediatric dentist for our mobile dental van aka the "Tooth Taxi". The Tooth Taxi is a privately funded state-of-the-art dental office on wheels: two operatory units, computerized charting, digital radiographs and nitrous oxide that travels 75% of the time throughout the state of Oregon. It is a direct service project started in 2008 in response to the growing oral health crisis in Oregon. Unlike other dental vans, the Tooth Taxi has a full-time pediatric dentist and staff, and it spends up to four days at a time at schools providing comprehensive dental care and oral health education for Oregon’s neediest children. Oregon dental license required.

Required Skills
- Licensed Dentist within the State of Oregon.
- Pediatric dentist preferred with Nitrous endorsement.
- Ability to take own x-rays.
- Strong patient management skills, with proven successful record working with children.
- Demonstrated management and leadership skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Computer proficiency with dental practice management software.
- Must have strong decision making skills and work with frequent interruptions and constantly shifting priorities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and project a professional business image.
- Ability to travel each week throughout the State of Oregon and remain auto insurable.
