Job Description
Sierra Lakes Dental Group is looking for a Part time hygienist to work in our state of the art practices 2 days a week. Offices are equipped with digital x-rays, digital charting, and intra-oral cameras.
Hygienists make a daily guarantee percentage of production. Hygienists can earn $35-$55/hr.
Hygienists should be familiar and/or able to do the following
  • Irrigation application
  • Local anesthetics (if state allows)
  • Arestin placement
  • Pocket chart alone (if no assistant is able to help)
  • Comfortable presenting treatment plans.
Job Requirements
EDUCATION
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATION
  • Current State License
  • Valid State License to administer Local anesthetics (if applicable)
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as business periodicals, professionals journals, technical procedure manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and governmental regulations.
  • Communicate effectively and present information, both verbally and in writing, to patients and co-workers. Ability to write routine reports and business correspondence.
  • Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal or diagram form and solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, decimals and percentages and compute rate, ratio and percentages.
  • Apply logical thinking to a wide range of practical problems.
  • Experience in Soft Tissue Management is helpful.
