- The Dental Assistant will assist the dentist in many aspects of direct care and perform other clinical and clerical functions independently of direct supervision.
- He/she must have knowledge of instruments, materials and standardized dental procedures.
- The Medical Center provides acute, intermediate, long term care and outpatient services to a diverse population of patients with wide ranging medical and psychiatric diagnoses.
- The service also provides dental care to eligible veteran outpatients and to active military personnel.
