Summary
Using excellent customer service, responsible for scheduling patients, updating patient information, performing visit processing (check in) and check out functions and acting as a liaison in reporting any patient suggestions to the clinic manager. Requires a variety of skills to maintain clinic schedules and patient related issues. Responsible for assisting in training of other employees in reception and associate level scheduling. Also responsible for assisting in the maintenance of scheduling templates and providing input in department guidelines. Performs the general scheduling and paperwork for assigned clinics.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One year of experience working in an office environment.
- Previous experience working in a medical office environment. Previous experience or interest in learning scheduling of patients preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal, listening and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of and ability to use computers with demonstrated keyboarding skills
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology preferred.
- Experience with answering phones, greeting clients and customers in person, and scheduling appointments.
- Knowledge of and ability to use computers for entering appointment information and patient billing.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills.
- Ability to think independently and demonstrate good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and to collaborate with a variety of personnel.
