Assists in the examination, treatment and care of patients. Also, responsible for phones, appointments, filing and chart preparation.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
EXPERIENCE: 1-3 years medical office background with medical terminology knowledge preferred.

- Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program required.
- CPR certification required.
- Certificates in phlebotomy, radiology and other healthcare areas are preferred
EQUIPMENT/SKILLS
- Demonstrable experience with PC, faxes and multi-line phones.
- Ability to work well with people.
- Ability to work within deadlines and prioritize
- Ability to utilize blood pressure monitor and thermometer.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
