Participates in a medical team dedicated to delivering excellent customer service and strengthening the patient/clinician relationship. Through improving patient flow, access and scheduling, works to improve clinical operations and efficiencies. Provides clinical and/or clerical support to the practice. Provides direct clinical support to (a) clinician(s).
Education
High school graduate or equivalent required; plus either completion of medical assisting program, college degree in related field, or at least one year medical assisting experience.
Skills and Experience
- Strong interpersonal, customer service, time management, and organizational skills required.
- Computer experience required; experience using electronic medical record preferred.
