MEDICAL ASSISTANT, Providence Health & Services - Mukilteo, WA

Job Summary
Work under the direction and supervision of the nursing supervisor, Clinic Administrator, or appropriate staff to support the delivery of cost-effective, clinically competent, reliable healthcare in a safe, respectful manner that ensures patient respect and dignity. Manage heavy patient flow to ensure that patient appointment demands are met and services are available as requested or needed. Work with front desk staff in the coordination of appointments and patient needs as they arise. Understand, support and implement the mission and core values or Providence Physician Group, Sisters of Providence Health System through responsible and effective work performance.

REQUIREMENTS
Education
Must have graduated from a certified medical assistant program (we are unable to hire students).

Licenses/Certifications
  • Medical Assistant program graduate, RN or LPN.
  • CPR certification.
  • Certified or able to be certified at levels A, C, and E. WA Health Care Assistants are required to be at least certified at A, C, E levels in order to perform job duties listed.
Experience
  • If WA certified Health Care Assistant, progressively responsible medical assisting experience in a clinic setting preferred.
  • If RN or LPN, WA license and clinical practice experience preferred.
  • Computer keyboard skills, including word processing and spreadsheet experience preferred.
  • Ability to physically perform the essential functions of the position .
