Gynocologic Oncology Associates has an immediate opportunity available for a Certified Medical Assistant who will be based out of our Miramar facility in the Memorial Miramar Medical Building.
This is a great opportunity for the right candidate! The Certified Medical Assistant will assist Physicians in our affiliated offices throughout Dade and Broward Counties with procedures, reconcile information for billing, assist with front desk duties, and provide coverage when they are less than 50% fully staffed.

Successful candidates must have expertise in the following required areas to be considered:
- Medical Assistant Certified
- 2+ years experience in a large volume practice &/or busy clinic & a phone triage environment
- Ability to understand and empathetically relate complicated medical issues to patients
- Solid verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, assisting with patient calls regarding medications, prescriptions, and educational consultations
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong work ethic
- High degree of reliability and punctuality
- If you have experience working in a gynecologic oncology clinic, that would be a HUGE plus
