- Performs routine procedures to determine and record claimant’s vital signs.
- Obtains medical history.
- Performs standard diagnostic procedures accurately, efficiently and with the highest quality including: 12-lead electrocardiograms, proficient venipuncture, and preparation of lab specimens for laboratory courier.
- Prepare, assist and accurately complete all forms such as claimant history questionnaires, lab requisitions, etc.
- Place and prepare claimants in exam room for doctor evaluation.
- Performs housekeeping functions such as: changing exam room table paper, upkeep of cleanliness of the entire office (exam rooms, bathrooms, waiting area, front office, lab room, etc.), ensuring all equipment is clean and presentable.
- Performs front office duties such as: answering telephones, scheduling appointments, copying reports, preparing schedules, data entry (including referral contracts, post appointment information) and filing.
- Assist doctors during schedules (e.g. chaperone same sex claimants during examination.).
- If fluent in other languages, assist claimants and doctors with translation of questionnaire forms or during evaluation, as necessary.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.

- Medical Assistant Certification
- Current First-Aid Certification
- High school diploma
- Current CPR Certification
- Experience in medical office environment in front and back office capacity

- Computer: good data entry

- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Computer: Basic PC including Windows applications (launching and closing programs, minimizing and maximizing application screens), search and find files, using Windows Explorer, starting, rebooting and shutting down a PC, using e-mail, printing documents, etc
