- High School/GED Required
Under the guidance and supervision of the nurse supervisor, shares responsibility for the total patient needs. As a member of the nursing team, performs a variety of technical duties of which were acquired through supervised on-the-job training and experiences. The medical assistant shares the responsibility in providing a safe and comfortable environment conductive to healing while delivering quality care. Assists physician, nurse practitioner, registered nurseand/or licensed practical nurse as needed to provide all care. Medical Assistant Diploma required.
