Overview
This is a full time position located at our North Park Family Health Center - Dental Clinic.
Under the direction of the Dental Director, offers and provides to all patients of the Family Health Centers of San Diego general dental care and services.
Bilingual English and spanish preferred.

Under the direction of the Dental Director, offers and provides to all patients of the Family Health Centers of San Diego general dental care and services.

Responsibilities
- Completes dental records or procedures currently in operation for all dental patients.
- Assesses dental needs and refers patients as necessary to dental specialists and/or medical providers.
- Instructs and supervises Dental Hygienist, dental assistants and other para-professional personnel.
- Participates in developing and reviewing dental treatment protocols, audit procedures and quality assurance procedures.
- Assists the Dental Director in clinical tasks and program development as requested.
- Takes available opportunities to attend continuing educational programs to upgrade dental skills.
Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited Dental School.
- License from the State of California as a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) or Doctor of Medical Dentistry (D.M.D.) required.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English highly desirable.
- General practice residency or equivalent of 2 years clinical experience preferred.
