Dental Assistant, UPMC - Pittsburgh, PA
Job Summary
Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC, located in the Lawrenceville area of the city of Pittsburgh, is currently seeking an dental assistant to work on a full-time basis on a daylight, Monday through Friday shift within the Dental Services Department. The dental assistant must be able to start at 7:30AM or 7:45AM and work until 4:00PM or 4:15PM. Overtime will be required on days when surgery has been scheduled either in the beginning or end of shift. The dental assist helps with the delivery of clinical Dental/Orthodontic care and assists in ensuring the Department's operations are performed in an orderly, efficient manner. Candidates for this position will need to take an assessment as part of the hiring process for this position.

Basic Qualifications
- high school diploma required
- experience in standard four-handed Dentist/Orthodontist techniques required
Licensure/Certifications
- CPR certification required
- dental radiology certificate requried
- Act 33 Clearance will be required within 30 days of hire
- Act 73 Clearance will be required within 30 days of hire
