Job Details
- Provides dental prophylaxis, scaling and root planning and periodontal probing.
- Provides preventive services including fluoride treatment and dental sealants.
- Provides effective oral hygiene evaluation and instruction.
- Exposes mount and document radiographs to include in the patient's record.
- Provides other clinical services for patients by virtue of training and experience.
- Provides thorough documentation of all care provided in compliance with Hospital and Department regulations and policies.
- Maintains instruments and equipment in optimal condition to facilitate excellent patient care.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Dental Hygiene, NYS license in Dental Hygiene and National Board Certification are required.
- A minimum of three years of dental office experience is also required.
- The qualified candidate must also be professional and posses strong verbal and written communication skills.
