We are seeking a Medical Billing Refund Specialist. In this position you will be responsible for researching all potential overpayments and resulting refunds.

We are seeking a Medical Billing Refund Specialist. In this position you will be responsible for researching all potential overpayments and resulting refunds.
Essential responsibilities include
- Reviewing credit balance reports for potential overpayments
- Researching refund requests
- Completing processing of approved refunds
- Documenting offset requests and updating refund logs, including
- Medicare offsets Mailing all refund checks
- Other duties as required
Job Requirements
- Applicants should possess a high school diploma or GED
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft applications including, but not limited to Word and Excel.
- This role requires extensive computer use. General knowledge of internet navigation and research, e-mail, fax transmission, copy equipment, and medical billing are essential
