Job Description
- Assists in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a Provider.
- Interviews patients, measures vital signs. Records information on the patient chart.
- May be required to draw and collect blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
- Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients.
- Takes radiographs to assist in treatment of patients.
- Provides adequate safety to patients set down by A.R.R.T. requirements.
- Must be able to work nights and weekends.
Requirements
- Requires a high school diploma and medical assistant certificate.
- At least 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Licensed by State of Utah in Radiology Practical Technician is a plus.
