Main Function
Provides high quality heath care to medical and surgical cardiovascular patients through the development and implementation of a comprehensive Cardiac Rehabilitation Phase I-III Program that involves the patient and their family. Reports directly to Cardiac Rehabilitation Coordinator and indirectly to Director of Rehabilitation Services, yet is accountable to the standards of care and practice and educational requirements as delineated by the Robert Packer Hospital Nursing Department.
Education
- Current licensure in state of primary practice required, prefer dual license in New York and Pennsylvania.
- Must be a graduate from an approved school of nursing; minimum of 2 years nursing experience including experience with cardiac monitoring; requires current BLS and ACLS course completion and certification.
- ACSM Exercise Specialist Certification preferred
