QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. plus college level course work required, Associates degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years medical billing experience, which includes at least 2 years of electronic, claims submission.
- Experience with a variety of contractual reimbursement arrangements. Medical and Billing Certification preferred.
- Requires knowledge of healthcare billing practices including CPT4, ICD-9, and State AHCCCS codes using HCFA1500 and UB04 requirements.
- Must have experience with automated billing systems.
- Knowledge of mental health billing desired. Ability to be multi-task orientated.
- Requires excellent communication, problem solving, conflict resolution, and organizational skills.
